A classic California ranch house, this renovation is close to my heart, as it is my home. Through several renovations, much of the original character of this home was lost. I set out to restore the home through bringing back its old-world charm, while introducing modern-day aesthetics. While most of the older homes in this area become new-builds, I was intent on preserving the size and layout of this home, as it was ideal for a young growing family.  For the landscape, I delineated the front and backyard areas into distinct garden rooms, evoking a sense of exploration and relaxation. In the front garden, I included elements such as gravel, fountains, and a seating area to enhance its allure and functionality. The result is a beautiful and charming home that stands the test of time.
