Built in the 1920s, this Spanish Colonial home, underwent many renovations, but with no original details left. My goal was to restore the home back to its original character through adding design elements that reflected the authentic style of the home. The scope was a full interior renovation, including furniture and exterior design. The external shell of the house was retained, but everything from the windows, doors, bathrooms, kitchen, and flooring was replaced. One of the most transformative elements is the earthy plastered walls throughout the home, which envelope the home in warmth and beauty. The exterior renovations were as much a focus as the interior and the result is a a cohesive flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
